Dearest Lisa, I don’t know why I chose tonight to click on your website. But I was shocked to see these new posts. I am so sorry for what you are going through. I am sorry you have to hide out at home. At least your little house is one of the most beautiful sanctuaries I have ever stayed at! Please let me know if you want me to come over and do any yard clean-up for Spring. I would be happy to help. I can feel the love and comfort of your community here. I add my love and healing energies to the collective. You’ve got this ya spunky star sister!! Karen

Charmane is sexy but you are a stud…a smart, clever, strong, compassionate, sexy stud. Love the way your thoughts roll off your tongue…pure, honest, biting and real. I imagine all of us will be traveling on this adventure with you through your posts and one day soon we will be raising our glasses in a victory celebration!

I’m absolutely speechless. My sister beat it and so will you. I’m adding you to my prayers.
I’m hardly ever on Facebook and had planned on posting something else. That seems irrelevant now.
You are most definitely in my thoughts and heart.

    Lisa,

My heart dropped when I learned what you are going through. I would not wish this on anyone after going through this myself for the last 8 months. My hair was as long as yours when I lost it and so it was when reality set in. Just remember it will grow back. The key here is getting rid of the cancer. There may be setbacks but you will get through it. Your strong and be sure you eat even though the thought of eat makes you nauseated. Get a lot of rest. You can do this and don’t be afraid to reach out. Get support from your cancer navigator. If you need anything let me know and I will be there in a minute. Prayers are with you. Call if you need anything 303-881-5214.

      Lisa,

It’s not unusual that you would find a ray of sunshine in an otherwise dreadful and dark subject…..you have made us all feel a common ache in our hearts in reading this but in that way that makes you cry and smile at the same time…… thank you for that! You are really good at it!!!!
And know………you is strong… you is beautiful ….you is smart!

I’ll be thinking of you. As I did yesterday and the day before and the day before that. Sending you warm thoughts and hugs ….

      You are a sweetheart ❤️?❤️

Hi Lisa! Just read your story. I’m so sorry how’s going through this. Sounds like when you had your bilateral six years ago I had mine six years ago 🙂 who knew our paths were similar back then. I’m thinking of you at this time while you go through chemo, and everything else that goes with that. Sounds like you’ve got great support, but if you ever want to talk to another fellow breast cancer survivor who also went through chemo (and surgeries, etc) I would be happy to be another friend. I am sending you lots of love and hugs. ?

Today is International Women’s Day. On my radio show this morning some of the songs we played was Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and Helen Reddy’s “I Am Woman”. You my dear friend are a shining example of both of those songs. Your strength and intelligence carry you far. Your ability to face difficult times and know that you will be okay is inspiring to all of us. Hope to be in Denver with you this summer.

Lisa – I’m sorry “our” disease has found you. You possess everything you need to battle this – you’re funny, smart, emotionally honest, and will see the big picture. You and Charmane can do it! Keep your “curable disease” sign handy … Hugs ?. PS I was relieved you said those Talenti containers had soup – I fear if it was my pantry it would be ice cream
